Phlegethon was one of the five rivers of the Underworld, less famous than the Styx, but just as deadly. In Dante’s Inferno, it was a river of blood that boiled souls, Attila the Hun’s and Alexander the Great’s included.
This collection was in particular striking for Ricks use of, lets say, unusual colors (at least for him). Bubblegum Pink, fierce Red and many others. But the essence of Rick Owen's identity is always kept alive. Like this Armor like corset top. The Denim is treated with wax which can evaporate over time changing the look and feel of this piece.
